Well, the calendar has once again turned its page to September, the leaves are turning brown, heralding the advent of autumn.
Here at I.Franks, the crunch of the leaves underfoot serves to remind us that our annual  foray into the world of Lapada will soon be upon us.
This year’s fair takes place in its usual spot under the marquees in Berkeley Square, Mayfair from 15-20th September.

Truth be told, we have been busy organising this prestigious event since departing last year’s show.
The wonderful thing about Lapada is, that no matter where your interests lie, there is something for everyone. With exhibitors from all areas of the antiques arena, it is unique opportunity to view the very best of antiques from across the country under one roof.
I.Franks has a longstanding relationship with Lapada which means anyone who is new to us can be assured of our knowledge, quality and expertise. Our established clients are already aware we strive to seek out the very best items that can be found in the world of silver.
Each year we welcome the opportunity to introduce people to the fantastic range of items that are available in this most beautiful of materials, silver.
This year, once again, we have some fantastic pieces up our sleeves and cannot wait to reveal them to our visitors at the fair.
Of course, what we have on display at the show is merely a taster to vast amount we have on offer here at the London Silver Vaults. With so many pieces to choose from, our biggest difficulty each year is what deserves its time in the spotlight.
Highlights from this year’s exhibits will include a large and impressive Warwick Sideboard Dish, a one of a kind silver gilt altar set, with semi precious stones, a rare 1940's Christofle Dessert Trolley and an almost life-size silver elephant (perhaps that's a slight exaggeration but it is big).
We will, as always, have a striking selection of goods, ranging from the grand and spectacular to smaller collectables. Our unrivalled stock will contain examples of the best work and silversmiths from the Georgian and Victorian periods as well as Arts and Crafts Silver and the best of 20th Century Design.
While a visit to our stand is bound to please, a visit to our shop will allow us the chance to present many other wonderful pieces to visitors. So, not to worry if you are unable to make the show, a trip to see us at the Silver Vaults will be equally enchanting.
If you are visiting the Lapada Fair this year you will find us at stand A4 near the front of the venue. Please drop by and say hello. Jonathan and Daniel will be happy to show you around.
Please get in touch with us at sales@ifranks.com if you would like a ticket.

We hope to see you there!
